Brandon High School’s DECA team recently traveled to Brandon Municipal Complex to begin their season at the District Competition. BHS competed against nearby schools in the district, including Richland, McLaurin, Northwest Rankin, and Florence, ranging in events from Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Hospitality and Tourism, and marketing. All twenty-four competitors from Brandon High School qualified to compete at the state-level competition in Vicksburg, MS, in February of 2024, with nine placing first in their competitive division! In addition to their overall placements, Brandon High School’s Griffin Mangum won a special award for his high test score on the Hospitality and Tourism Career Test. Congratulations to our DECA Bulldogs on their recent accomplishment!
