Brandon High School’s two acapella groups, B-1-9 and Brilliance, went to Pearl River Community College’s accafest! Getting on a bus at 6:30 in the morning, they made their way to PRCC to attend their first workshop! There were two workshops where both groups could develop their songs and make adjustments that helped the overall quality of each piece! The groups would have a chance to reach out and meet other groups and chat about all things acapella! Both groups attended their sound checks and prepared for the upcoming night, where they would perform! It is safe to say that Accafest was a success as the night ended with two spectacular performances from each group!
