Senior Spotlight – Jace Smith

Senior Spotlight - Jace Smith

Hello, My name is Jace Smith! I’m a senior at Brandon High School, and the pressures of graduation are rapidly approaching. This year marked my first year here at Brandon, and while I never really made any memorable moments, I have enjoyed my time here. The helpful and encouraging teachers and the bright personalities of the students made this year quite enjoyable. Even so, I’m very anxious to graduate, as I’m sure most students are. The transition from childish to mature is tough for me, and even though most people I talk to call me mature, I feel the opposite. After I graduate, I will attend Mississippi State, where I plan to major in psychology. Psychology wasn’t always my dream, but being struck with a moment of wonder made it an option, and now it’s my primary choice. After college, I plan to become a criminologist or an educational psychologist. Of course, I intend to scratch things off my bucket list, such as writing a book and skydiving at least once. I want to live a life free of stress, but I understand I must make room for mistakes. Hopefully, those mistakes will be manageable. I wish the best for every Brandon High student or any other school!
