It’s time to meet Brandon High School’s new counselor! Lyndsey Best is a Biloxi native but isn’t new to the Brandon Community. Previously, she worked at Brandon High School teaching ACT Prep for one year, then moved down to Rouse as a counselor for four years. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. She then went on to receive her counseling degree from William Carey University. She is a creative minded person with a compassionate heart and an energetic personality.
She is married to Head Baseball Coach Daniel Best. Together, they have two sons-Drace, a fifth grader at Brandon Elementary, and Beckett, a kindergartener at Rouse Elementary. She enjoys spending most of her time with her two children in her free time. In whatever time she has left, she enjoys attending BHS sporting events. Aside from working at the high school, she hopes to build relationships with as many students as possible and eventually leave BHS better than she found it. Her favorite things about BHS students are that “Everyone is so nice,” and she was “welcomed with open arms.” Brandon High School takes pride in having Mrs. Best as our newest member of the bulldog family.
