The 2024 Senior Awards Ceremony, one of the most treasured senior traditions, took place on Friday, April 12th. While Senior Awards Day is about honoring our seniors who have worked hard to finish strong, it also honors all seniors with their graduation stoles—each BHS senior received their red stoles before entering the awards ceremony. Then, Mrs. Shea Carter led the seniors in placing their stoles around their necks to represent their time at Brandon. BHS recognized Seniors for various awards, including Bulldog Citizenship, Leadership, ACT Honors, ACT High Honors, Academic Excellence, Top 10% Qualifiers, Tech Masters, Mississippi Scholars, Distinguished Service, and the Bulldog Legacy Award.
Brandon High School also awarded eight seniors with four special honors. The first honor was the “Top Dog” award. This award was awarded to two seniors who exhibited outstanding work ethic and character inside the classroom. The “Top Dog” award winners for the class of 2o24 were Daniel Bailey and Baileah Wilson.
