- Peer Tutoring AFTER school will be closed due to Homecoming activities. Please reach out to your tutor via email for any questions.
- Health Science Academy has scheduled our first Blood Drive of the year for Wednesday, September 25th. Sign up sheet to donate is located outside Room 401. All donors will receive a $10 gift card. If you are 16 years of age, you will need parent/guardian permission.
- This is Start with Hello week! This week is all about promoting kindness and making sure every student feels seen and valued. I challenge each student to mix it up at lunch today and sit with someone new. You never know what a simple smile and conversation can do for someone else. Have a great day and BE KIND!
- Tryouts for the BHS Bowling Teams will be held Tuesday September 24th at Fannin Lanes. Anyone interested in trying out MUST see Coach Hagan in Room 516 to sign up.
- FCA will be TODAY in the MPR at 7:50am, All students and staff are invited.
- The homecoming dance will be on September 20 from 10:30-12:30. Homecoming dance tickets will be on sale in the cafeteria during lunch block through September 19. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
- Health Science Academy is hosting a Band-aid Drive to benefit the Children’s of Mississippi Cancer Clinics. Please donate colorful print, character, and/or sports themed band-aids to any health science teacher! Service hours will be awarded.
- Student Council is sponsoring the Homecoming Dance Friday, September 20th from. If you would like to bring a date from a school other than BHS, you will need to get a date request form from the Administrative Office and submit it to determine approval.
