This year’s homecoming brought “the most magical place on earth” to Brandon! The 2023 Homecoming theme was Disney Parks. Each grade picked a park to design their float and skit around; The freshmen chose Epcot, the sophomores chose Animal Kingdom, the juniors chose Hollywood Studios, and the seniors chose Magic Kingdom. Each grade worked hard building their floats and creating skits to show off to our Brandon community! The floats and skits were judged by the community and a committee not affiliated with BHS. Seniors won the committee vote for both the skit and float, while Juniors won the community vote for both categories! The Brandon High School motto for the year is “Own It.” Each of the grades put this motto into action when they took personal time out of their busy week to work together to build floats and learn skits to present. Congratulations to everyone who participated this year; we can’t wait to see what happens next year!
