On Monday, January 20, we celebrate and honor the life of one of the most influential Civil Rights Leaders our nation has ever seen: Martin Luther King Jr. His brave actions, unforgettable speeches, and monumental urge to make this world a better place are something our nation will never forget. Martin Luther King Jr. is known for his nonviolent advocacy and commitment to the belief in peacefully fighting for your rights with nonviolent boycotts, sit-ins, marches, etc. King believed that this world had the potential to have greater justice and equality for all races. On January 20 we recognize and respect the legacy that he left here on this earth. We will continue to spotlight his contributions to the Civil Rights Movement and embody the ideas he spent his life working towards.
