On Saturday, December 14, our very own BHS cheerleaders took the mat at the Mississippi Coliseum to participate in the MHSAA State Cheer Competition. With many impressive teams in their division, the girls knew the competition was going to be tough. After countless 6 AM practices and late nights spent at the Southern Athletics gym, the girls delivered a flawless performance. Their hard work and dedication paid off as they won first place in the Large VarsityTraditional category. If you see a cheerleader around campus, make sure to congratulate her on this impressive victory. As always, go Bulldogs and BOE!
