Senior Spotlight – Camden Flowers

Hi! I am Camden Flowers, the Editor-in-chief of Bully’s Buzz and The Paw Print at BHS. I want to start by saying that I am so grateful and blessed to have been a part of these incredible publications. I started in this program in my Sophomore year, the inaugural year of Bully’s Buzz and I have enjoyed watching it grow into a thriving publication that has reached hundreds of alums each year. In my Junior year, I had the opportunity to create The Paw Print, the student’s publication along with Sam Ratliff (Editor-In-Chief 2023-2024). Now, in its second year, The Paw Print has become a special part of BHS culture. It has been my honor to spur growth in both of these publications. I look forward to furthering my education at The University of Alabama, majoring in Music Education. While I do not plan on continuing my journalism career, I will never stop writing. Being a high school journalist taught me to value my voice and opinions, and I will never throw that away. To my sophomores and juniors, I am so incredibly proud of each of you. I have watched you bloom into a journalist with a heart for the truth and a heart for each other. I know you will do great things! Mrs. Elkins, thank you for believing in me. Had it not been for you, I never would have found my voice as a writer or confidence as a person. I appreciate everything you have done for me and I will miss you greatly. Thank you for reading to everyone who has been keeping up with these additions over the years. Thank you!
