Hey Bulldogs! This past month, three playoff rounds were held for our Brandon Boys Baseball Team. In game 1 of the first round of playoffs, our bulldogs defeated the Biloxi Indians 7-5. For game 2 of playoffs, the road dogs headed south to play Biloxi again and unfortunately lost 5-1. We headed back to the VIN to face Biloxi again for the 3rd time. We quickly swept the Biloxi Indians, ending the first round of playoffs with 10-0. For the second round of playoffs, our Bulldogs faced Ocean Springs. Our road dogs made a winning start to their trip to Ocean Springs, winning game 1 of the playoffs 6-1. In game 2 of the second round of playoffs, the Bulldogs defeated the Greyhounds leading 6-3 against Ocean Springs. Our bulldogs knew we were South State Bound going into South State finials against the North West Rankin Cougars.Game 1 of the third round of the South State Finals took our road dogs to North West Rankin, where they emerged victorious with a score of 6-3 against the Cougars.Game 2 was a nail-biting showdown, with each player giving their all to bring home the title. In the end, our bulldogs prevailed with a score of 10-6 against the Cougars. We are thrilled to announce that your Bulldogs are the South State Champions!! We couldn’t be prouder of our Bulldogs, and we eagerly look forward to supporting them as they strive for the State Championship!!
