On February 24th and 25th, Brandon High School’s DECA members competed at their annual state conference at the Vicksburg, Mississippi Convention Center. Those who placed in the top three within their chosen competition category- including Addison Ciaravino, Mallory Sykes, Miller Ransom, and Chassidy Nicole- guaranteed their spot on the plane to DECA’s International Career Development Conference held in Orlando, Florida this year. Congratulations to these students for their excellent skills! While the competition was taking place, voting delegates chosen from each chapter were deciding who would represent Mississippi DECA on the executive team during the 2025-2026 school year. Congratulations to Hallie Elkins for being voted in as Mississippi DECA’s Vice President of District I. Josie Saujon and Madelyn Mcllwain have officially ended their terms on the executive team as President and Vice President of District I, respectively. Thank you for an outstanding year of DECA! And congratulations again to all those who competed!
