Hey Bulldogs, Brandon Bulldog SASH club hosted their Respect Week from February 10-14. This week represented different aspects of consent and safe dating. Monday was “Protect Your Peace,” and students and faculty were dressed in tie-dye or hippie attire. Tuesday was “Show Your Support for Survivors,” and participants were dressed in orange. Wednesday was “Respect Yourself,” and the school wore comfortable clothes. Thursday was “Team Up Against Dating Violence,” and Duo or Group Costumes were worn. Friday was “Celebrate Healthy Love,” and the school wore Valentine’s Day Outfits. As this was the first school-wide dress-up week hosted by SASH, this event brought a plethora of positive awareness to the club and its cause. What was once seen as a hushed topic is now receiving its much-deserved and needed attention. Thanks to everyone who participated in Respect Week. As always, go Bulldogs!
