On January 23rd, 2025, all of Brandon’s Show Choir groups headed to Omaha, NE for Millard West’s annual Music Lives competition. After spending the evening supporting their middle school groups on Friday, Brio and Bellas competed in Prelims and Finals on Saturday. During the Preliminary awards, Brio was awarded 1st Runner-Up in their division and Best Costumes Overall, and Bellas was awarded 1st place in their division. At the end of preliminary awards, it was announced that Bellas would compete first in finals, and Brio would compete last. During Final awards, Brio was awarded 1st Runner-Up Overall and Bellas was awarded 4th Runner Up Overall. At this competition, there were two “Best Solo in a Show” awards, and one of which was presented to Cara Gray for her Whitney Huston solo in Brio’s competition show. Similarly, there were only two “Best Performer” awards, and one of them was presented to Chassidy Conaway for her remarkable performance in Bellas competition show. We are so proud of our show choirs!
