Hey, bulldogs! On Friday, October 18, Brandon High School hosted its annual “Pink Out” pep rally. Our pep rallies at BHS are always filled with energy as we focus on hyping up our football team to win the game later that night. Although we still made sure our football team felt loved, the purpose of this pep rally was to raise awareness around Breast Cancer for October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each year, students, faculty, and parents show up and show out by dressing up in all pink to support those affected by Breast Cancer. The pep rally was filled with laughs, screams, and excitement as we watched performances by our cheer and dance team, as well as a special performance by the winners of the lip sync battle. Each year, BHS chooses to recognize someone in the Brandon community who has fought or is currently fighting Breast Cancer. This year, we recognized Mrs. Allison Walters and Christian Pearson. The community of Brandon High will continue to support those affected by Breast Cancer.
