- This week is Start with Hello! Please take the time today to “Race to be Kind” and talk to someone you don’t know. This is sponsored by the SADD/SAVE club which promotes mental well-being throughout the school and community. - Tryouts for the BHS Bowling Teams will be held Tuesday September 24th at Fannin Lanes. Anyone interested in trying out MUST see Coach Hagan in Room 516 to sign up.
- FCA will be this Wednesday in the MPR at 7:50am, All students and staff are invited.
- The homecoming dance will be on September 20 from 10:30-12:30. Homecoming dance tickets will be on sale in the cafeteria during lunch block through September 19. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
- All book lovers are invited to attend a Book Club Interest Meeting on Tuesday, September 17th during Zero Block in Room 131, Mrs. Mandy Faulkner’s Room. We hope to see you there!
- Health Science Academy is hosting a Band-aid Drive to benefit the Children’s of Mississippi Cancer Clinics. Please donate colorful print, character, and/or sports themed band-aids to any health science teacher! Service hours will be awarded.
- Student Council is sponsoring the Homecoming Dance Friday, September 20th from. If you would like to bring a date from a school other than BHS, you will need to get a date request form from the Administrative Office and submit it to determine approval.
