“Compassionate” is just one of the many words our newest counselor, Lyndsey Best, would use to describe herself. After working at Rouse Elementary for four years, Mrs. Best was eager to return to Brandon High School, where she previously taught ACT Prep for the 2018-2019 school year. She was delighted to return to open arms and a school she described as “like no other.” Mrs. Best grew up in Biloxi, Mississippi, and chose to stay in the state to pursue higher education. After obtaining her undergraduate from the University of Southern Mississippi, she remained in Hattiesburg, receiving her graduate degree in School Counseling from William Carey. She has now found a home in Brandon, where she raises her two boys, Beckett (5) and Drace (10), along with our very own Coach Daniel Best. Lyndsey Best oversees all students with last names A-C, and she can be contacted at [email protected]. Let’s make sure to give her our warmest welcome!
